Serving Belmont families with love and expertise
A trusted, locally owned infant daycare serving Belmont families since 2015.
Growing Up Child Care was founded with a simple mission: to provide a safe, loving, and developmentally rich environment for the youngest children in our community. Our Belmont location at 773 Belmont Street has been home to hundreds of infants and toddlers, and we take pride in being a part of each family’s journey.
Our experienced team is passionate about early childhood education. We believe that every infant is unique, and our program is designed to honor each child’s individual rhythm while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We focus on what matters most: your baby’s safety, development, and happiness.
Our teachers form secure attachments with your baby, providing comfort and predictability throughout the day.
We don’t force a rigid timetable. Feeding, napping, and diapering follow your child’s natural cues.
From tummy time to sensory play, we design activities that support physical, cognitive, and language milestones.
We stand out in the Belmont community because we focus on what truly matters for your baby.
We tailor our approach to each developmental stage, from early reflexes to first steps.
8 weeks β 6 months
Focus on tummy time, sensory exploration, responsive feeding, and building secure attachment. We follow your baby’s sleep and feeding schedule meticulously.
6 β 12 months
Encouraging sitting, crawling, object exploration, and early babbling. We introduce age-appropriate toys and social interaction with peers.
12 β 15 months
Supporting walking, early words, and independence. We prepare children for a smooth transition to our toddler program with consistent routines.
Infant-to-Teacher Ratio: 3:1 β ensuring every baby receives the attention they deserve.
Your baby’s safety is our highest priority. We follow strict protocols to ensure a secure environment.
Infants are placed on their backs for sleep in individual cribs with firm sleep surfaces and no loose bedding or soft objects, following our licensed childcare policies and current safe-sleep recommendations.
Our classrooms are sanitized daily. We have strict illness policies to prevent the spread of germs, and all staff are trained in proper diapering and handwashing procedures.
Our facility has a controlled-access entry system. Only authorized parents and staff can enter, and we maintain a detailed check-in/out process.
We follow your feeding instructions carefully. Bottles are clearly labeled, stored in a designated refrigerator, and warmed safely. We track every feeding in our daily log.
All staff are certified in Infant CPR and First Aid. We conduct regular emergency drills and have a comprehensive emergency action plan.
You’ll receive real-time updates via our parent app β including feeding, diapering, nap times, and photos of your little one’s day.
Unlike older children, infants don’t all follow the same timetable. Feeding, sleep, and diapering are adjusted to each baby’s developmental stage and family routine.
